The Outcomes Group offices are located at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, Vermont, near the intersections of Interstates 89 and 91. The hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical, psychiatric and rehabilitation services to Veterans throughout Vermont and Western New Hampshire. Affiliated with Dartmouth Medical School and a component of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), the VA provides a major component of both the Graduate Medical Education experience (170 residents rotating through 44 full time positions in 17 specialties) and undergraduate medical education (40% of clinical rotations for DMS students). Faculty and Fellows all provide clinical services within their specialties at the VA hospital.

All faculty and fellows have appointments at Dartmouth Medical School and in The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, located 10 minutes away on the other side of the Connecticut River in Lebanon, NH. Faculty and Fellows are also welcome to participate in all ongoing educational activities at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, also located in Lebanon, NH.

The Upper Connecticut River Valley encompasses towns in New Hampshire and Vermont on both sides of the Connecticut River. Opportunties abound for year round outdoor activities (hiking, biking, skiing, skating) and Dartmouth College supports a wide array of cultural activities (music, theatre, film festivals), sporting events and lectures.
